The Free League RPG Humble Bundle

You should know the deal by now. But just in case, every Humble Bundle is a collection of books, software, what have you, bundled together and offered at a steep discount with proceeds benefitting charity. This week, there’s a Free League Humble Bundle that gathers together some of their best RPG titles.

And it all goes for a good cause. The Free League bundle benefits Direct Relief, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to providing medical relief across the globe. Direct Relief works with healthcare professionals and organizations on the ground, establishing partnerships with local organizations that provide health services to people who would otherwise not receive them.

So you can get a bunch of RPGs and know that you’re supporting folks doing some real good in the world while you’re at it.

“Ready to spice up your TTRPG collection with the hottest titles from Free League Publishing? Unlock the core set for Dragonbane, an exhilarating classic fantasy game full of magic, mystery, and adventure that offers “mirth and mayhem roleplaying,” aka hearty laughs and brutal challenges. Or brave Mutant: Year Zero, a post-apocalyptic tale of humanity’s crawl back from streets turned graveyards as godlike mutants roam the wasteland. Try these or Vaesen: A Wicked Secret, all for a price you choose, and help support Direct Relief with your purchase.”

There’s a wide variety of titles on offer this time around. You might try out the apocalyptic road trip vibes of the Electric State, which is the darker, teen angstier cousin to Tales from the Loop. It’s an alt-90s (a decade already known for being alt) where a digital collapse has left the countryside in strange ruins. But not all is lost.

Or you can go for the post-apocalyptic, mutant extravaganza vibes of Mutant: Year Zero. This is the game that helped put Free League on the map with its wild and wacky mutant mayhem. If that’s not to your liking, there’s plenty of fantasy, dark and otherwise, including Dragonbane and The Forbidden Lands.
