Pathfinder takes a decidedly darker tone in the next big adventure path. Get ready for a whole Bastion full of Blasphemies.
Pathfinder has a darker tone in an upcoming new adventure. Taking cues from things like Castlevania and Dark Souls, the aptly named Bastion of Blasphemies will set adventurers upon one of the most notoriously haunted castles in all of Golarion. Curses, undead, demons, and worse await in a complete campaign that will take players from Levels 5-13.
Bastion of Blasphemies – Coming July 30th
There’s a number of factors contributing to the darker tone. For one, it’s set in Ustalav, which is Golarion’s gloomily gothic realm. There, people have been beset by a series of mysterious disappearances have followed in the wake of the Black Coach of Bastardhall. Also worth noting, this adventure comes from Pathfinder Co-Creator James Jacobs.
This is meant to tae players all the way to level 13. Now, going from level 5-13 is an intereting level range, but it seems that this is meant to launch from some of the beginner campaigs like the recently released Troubles in Grayce adventure anthology.
“Florin Kindler lost her parents to one of Ustalav’s most notorious hauntings—they perished, as so many have, after a visit from the Black Coach of Bastardhall. Arguably the most notorious of all the haunted castles of the Inner Sea region, Bastardhall’s mysteries have brought Florin and her adventuring companions in search of answers to the centuries-long curse that blights the ruins, but the castle has other plans than simply giving up what it hides, as those who dare to enter its haunted halls are doomed to vanish forever. Will your PCs be able to break the curse of Bastardhall and escape, or are they fated to become the latest in a long line of vanishings into one of Golarion’s most infamous ruins?”
This is yet another adventure path that follows the new Pathfinder 2E design. You get the whole campaign in one book, instead of spread out over a few volumes. It comes in either regular or deluxe with a faux leather cover and metalic deboss elements and a bound-in ribbon bookmark.
All of this, you’ll be able to find in July. But you can learn more at the link below!
