Goatboy here with a look into Dallas Open Championships 2025 winning 40K list from this past weekend. This Drukhari & Harlequin list went all the way!
In a land of full of walking machines of doom – the final winner was Liam Vsl and his Drukhari & Harlequin army. His list is full of MSU nonsense, things that can kill a Defiler quickly, and piloted by one of the best Warhammer 40k players out there. Oh and he is a pretty dang cool dude from Belgium. I got to chat with him a bit as we drove to dinner on Friday and he just seems like a true 40k Wizard.
Here is the list to look at. Liam Vsl went thru a lot of Chaos Space Marine Defiler nonsense to get there. The Dark Kin are just built to rip apart expensive robots. The army can score just about anywhere, is super fast, and just has all the tools to wreck those undercosted Daemonic crab walkers of doom.

Liam Vsl Drukhari Reaper’s Wager Tactics
Reaper’s Wager is an interesting detachment that deals with Drukhari or Harlequin units winning the wager. If the one side is winning they reroll a hit roll of 1. If they are losing they reroll a wound roll of a 1. The detachment also has a few amazing stratagems like the ability to turn off overwatch, advance/charge, get sustained or lethal hits, reactive moves, and even a fight on death. All of those are combo’d to work for both the Drukhari and the Harlequin options which gives you a heck of a lot of play here.
Congrats to Liam for flying down to Texas and wrecking all these dang crabs infesting the table tops. While you read this you should also check out the 11th games being played on stream as well. GW is streaming the last World Champs rematch in 11th edition with Liam taking on Richard Siegler from Art of War. Some other personalities are playing as well so it should be a good way to see the new game working while we wait on the hot new boxed set to come out.
