The Blade Runner RPG wants you to join the underground in Replicant Rebellion, a new expansion available now.

The Blade Runner RPG has two new expansions out this week, and both change the game entirely. The first, Replicant Rebellion, turns the Blade Runner paradigm on its head. Now, instead of investigating cases, you’ll be taking action against tyrannical corporations and helping out Replicants (possibly even playing one) as part of the Replicant Underground.

The second is Solo Mode (which also comes with an asset pack). That’s rules for playing the Blade Runner RPG with nobody else except for your imagination. Both are out now from Free League!

Replicant Rebellion Unleashed

Replicant Rebellion was a pretty exciting idea back in 2024 when it was first crowdfunding. But now? In 2026? The whole book about dismantling the corrupt machine one cog at a time by exposing the lies, secrets, and atrocities of the ultra-wealthy turning the world into their own personal playground hits hard. Maybe that’s just me.

But there are some fun new ideas here. Including rules for playing as a replicant, and for tackling jobs as members of the Replicant Underground. You’ll need cover identities, have to worry about heat rising on the actions you’re taking, and more as you get swept up in a revolution that is decidedly not televised.

“The streets are teeming with Blade Runners, attacking from every angle. Wallace Corp has LA under its private microscope, scalpel at the ready. The city is reeling from the return of Replicants just a year ago, and one controversy could spark an anti-Replicant brushfire, rallying the seething mobs into an outright civil war with humans and Nexus on both sides.

You are a member of the Replicant Underground, a decentralized network of Independent rebels dismantling the machine one cog at a time. The Underground is everyone and no one. Human and Replicant. Soldiers, smugglers, street rats, senators, and saboteurs. Grizzled vets, off-grid ghosts, even a few born yesterday. Quite literally.”

Blade Runner: Solo Mode & Asset Pack

Then there’s Solo Mode, which comes with the accompanying Asset Pack. The asset pack is a “wealth of resources and carefully crafted handouts” which you can use to enrich your own tabletop campaigns. You’ll find everything from newspaper front pages and action maps to crime scene photos and data sheets. If you want some handouts to help enrich your Blade Runner campaigns, this will do it for you.

Same goes for the solo rules. Everyone seems to be getting in on the solo RPG action these days. It can be a great way to learn a system. Or if you enjoy the creative exercise, it’s a fun way to spend an afternoon.
