The Cyberpunk TCG has become the most funded TCG Kickstarter of all time as it heads towards the $10 million mark in funding.
As of the publication of this article, Weird Co.’s Cyberpunk TCG campaign has raised $9,697,523 from 11,775 backers (about $824 per backer). This smashes Altered TCG’s fundraising record of $6.7 million, making it the most funded TCG Kickstarter of all-time as well as the most-funded card game Kickstarter project ever (passing Exploding Kittens at $8.78 Million).
The Kickstarter campaign passed its base funding goal of $150,000 within the first five minutes of the campaign. One of the keys to this project’s success in raising a ton of funds quickly was its high-end Reward tiers. There are six $7,999 reward tiers (100 available of each, initially) that offered up X/99 serialized cards for specific characters from the video game alongside 54 Beta displays. Four of the six tiers sold out by the end of day one of the campaign (accounting for about $3.2 million in funding).
This game is available for retail via GTS Distribution as an exclusive (see “Exclusive with GTS Distribution“) and will hit retail in Q3 2026.
