Devir Games is offering up a replacement deck for copies of Ace of Spades sold prior to the recall of the first run of the game.
The replacement deck is complementary and replaces the recalled content with the new content from the latest printing of the game (see “Reboot of ‘Ace of Spades’“). The first run of this game contained “inappropriate illustrations” that depicted an enslaved African American and an enslaver (see “Devir Recalling ‘Ace of Spades’“). Devir apologized for the first run’s content and conducted an internal review of design processes. The replacement deck request form can be found on Devir’s website.
