Titan Comics will publish a collection of James Bond newspaper strips that were created and ran between 1958 and 1961, before the release of the first James Bond film in 1962.
Ian Fleming’s James Bond Signature Comic Strip Collection will collect black-and-white newspaper strips by writers Henry Gammidge, Anthony Hern, and Peter O’Donnell and artist John McLusky. The comics were originally commissioned by the UK paper Daily Express and were direct adaptations of the novels Casino Royale, Live and Let Die, Moonraker, Diamonds Are Forever, From Russia with Love, Dr. No, and Goldfinger, all of which were subsequently adapted into movies. The 256-page hardcover will go on sale on September 8, 2026, with an MSRP of $49.99.
These comic strips were first reprinted by the James Bond 007 International Fan Club in the 1980s. Titan began publishing collections in 1987 and released them in four different series, the most recent in 2015-2017, each of which had different combinations of the strips.
The latest collection comes as a new James Bond film is in the works from Amazon MGM Studios (see “Bond Film Finds Writer”).
