Absolute Batman returns to the chart and Jujutsu Kaisen continues to dominate among the Top 20 best-selling Adult graphic novels according to Circana (formerly NPD) BookScan data for February 2026 (2/1/2026 – 2/28/2026) provided to ICv2.
VIZ Media dominates the chart with 14 titles, eight of which are Jujutsu Kaisen, and the top-selling title of the month is the latest volume of Jujutsu Kaisen, which was released on February 17.
It’s not all manga this month: Vol. 2 of Absolute Batman is at number 2, with Vol. 1 at number 16 and the hardcover of Vol. 2 at number 17.
Other than that it’s all manga, though. Vol. 1 of Gachiakuta, the top title of January, is at number 4 (see “January 2026 Circana BookScan“), and Vol. 2 is at number 10.
Vol. 6 of Kagurabachi is at number 8; we predicted this series would be a strong seller a year ago (see “February 2025 Circana BookScan“), and sure enough, Vol. 1 was one of the Top 20 manga of 2025 (see “Full Year 2025 Circana BookScan“) and new volumes make the chart when they are released. What makes this impressive is that there is no anime. Yet.
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is another series where each new volume makes the Top 20 that month. Vol. 14 is on this month’s chart, and since the new season of the anime launched in January, it may pop up again. VIZ’s Sarah Anderson singled it out as one of VIZ’s best-sellers, calling it a thoughtful action/adventure series: “It’s not just about the epic quest, it’s after the quest,” she said. “It’s what do you do when the people that you have this amazing life experience with and you fought together and all of that, and you’re immortal and they’re not.
