Wizards of the Coast announced the 2026 CommandFest dates, Commander-focused fan events for Magic: The Gathering.
The events will take place throughout the world, and will be presented by various tournament organizers depending the location of the show. These events, per usual, will use the Melee.gg platform to keep track of tournament results (see “Melee.gg“). The following North American events are scheduled for 2026:
- July 3–5, 2026, in Tacoma, WA USA; presented by Laughing Dragon
- August 21–23, 2026, in Toronto, Canada; presented by Face to Face Games
- August 29–30, 2026, in Mexico City, Mexico; presented by Necrotower
- December 11–13, 2026, in Alexandria, VA; presented by eSports Admin
The events scheduled outside of North America are as follows:
- May 22–24, 2026, in Adelaide, Australia; presented by Let’s Play Games
- May 22–24, 2026, in Giessen, Germany; presented by JK Entertainment
- May 30–31, 2026, in Beijing, China; presented by Kadou
- July 11–12, 2026, in Shanghai, China; presented by Kadou
- July 12, 2026, in Osaka, Japan; presented by Hareruya
- August 30, 2026, in Yokohama, Japan; presented by Hareruya
- September 4–6, 2026, in Bologna, Italy; presented by 4Seasons
- October 23–25, 2026, in Leicester, England; presented by Axion Now
- October 31–November 1, 2026, in Sao Paulo, Brazil; presented by City Class Games
- December 4–6, 2026, in Melbourne, Australia; presented by Let’s Play Games
- December 12–14, 2026, in Marl, Germany;presented by JK Entertainment
There is also an event yet to be announced for the APAC region. The CommandFest promo card for these events will be a textless Fyndhorn Elves card with are by Julie Dillon. It will be available in foil and non-foil versions.
