Legend in the Mist is one of the quickest rising new RPGs, and for good reason. Its approach to “rustic fantasy” feels like a blend of folklore and myth steeped in the fantasy traditions that keep players coming back again and again. I’m super stoked for this one. I fell in love with Legend in the Mist last year and have been itching for more of a chance to play it. And now that there’s a setting book there’s more room to play.
But it’s so much more than just a setting book. There are new rules to dig through, including solo support for everything in the book, so you can play on your own. You’ll also find a ton of new character options, including 30 new ‘tropes’ and 120 Theme Kits, so you can create your own Dalish heroes.

Personally, though, I’m excited to dig into the Thaumaturgy rules. The book says they’re a secret “unlockable path” and the Gloom/Frost-haven player in me wants to see what that means. Plus you get a full campaign.
