Games Workshop will place Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team – Typhon, a new miniatures boxed set, onto preorder on June 14, 2025.
This Kill Team was originally announced back at Adepticon 2025, and features a cohort of Tyranid Raveners that are preparing to fend off an invasion of their fortress world by the Adeptus Mechanicus and their combat servitors (see “‘Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team’ Expansion“). The Raveners’ army consists of four specialized Raveners led by a Prime along with 10 Hormagaunts with a Ripper Swarm. This boxed set also comes with 15 Tyranid Infestation terrain pieces.
The Adpetus Mechanicus Battleclades force consists of eight Servitors. These units are led by a Servitor Underseer who has a Technoarcheologist on hand to help in the search for relics. Additionally, the boxed set comes with a Typhon mission pack and dossier as well as an 90-page background lore and rules book with six missions for the Joint Ops mission pack and six missions for the Adversary Ops mission pack. It also contains tokens, datacards, a deck cards for new missions, and an Adeptus Mechanicus transfer sheet.
