Games Workshop will place Battleforce: Houndpack Lance and Codex: Chaos Knights, for Warhammer 40,000, onto preorder on June 7, 2025.
The new Battleforce: Houndpack Lance is a rogue Detachment of War Dogs that operate independently. The box contains 7 War Dogs that can be built as a Stalker, Karnivore, or Brigand. It also contains a transfer sheet with 238 transfers.
As a separate model knight, GW will also release a Knight Ruinator. This model is a close range variant of a Questoris Knight that offers players a few brutal melee options. The Knight Ruinator can either engage in a melee with its fellbore arm and darkflame lance or blast enemies from a distance with its missiles.
The Codex: Chaos Knights provides players with a whole host of background material on the faction. It also contains the new rules and detachment details for armies within the faction. Additionally, this book will be available as a premium collector’s edition.
Games Workshop also announced a new edition of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy, which will head to preorder soon (see “‘Warhammer: The Horus Heresy’“).
