‘Batman ’66’ Comic Run Collected in Whopping 1024-page Volume

DC Comics will release Batman ’66 Compendium, a collection of the Batman ’66 comics, into retail on August 25, 2024.

Between 2013 and 2016, DC Comics chose to continue the adventures of the 1966 television series, starring Adam West and Burt Ward, in comic book form with the Batman ’66 comic book series (see “Batman ’66“). The series was mostly penned by Jeff Parker and featured artwork from iZombie’s Mike Allred that captured the campy, brightly colored adventures of the original TV series. The series also portrayed newer Batman villains, such as Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Bane, and Two-Face, as they might have been in the retro TV series (had they been created back then).

This volume collects Batman ’66 #1-30. It also contains Batman ’66: The Lost Episode #1 that was adapted from an unproduced script by Harlan Ellison (the prolific sci-fi writer who penned the 1967 Star Trek episode “The City on the Edge of Forever”), as well as a story from Solo #7.  The MSRP on this book will be $59.99.
