Z-Man Games will release Love Letter Classic, a new printing of the hit card game, into retail on May 23, 2025.
This edition of Love Letter rolls the game back to the original version that won the 2014 Origins Award for Best Traditional Card Game (see “2014 Origins Winners Announced“), except with new packaging. Love Letter Classic features the same gameplay as the original, where players have to bluff and strategize their way into delivering their letters to the Princess, in a new eco-friendly design. This version utilizes no single-use plastics, thus making it a sustainable design.
The box comes with 21 Character cards, 6 Reference cards, 12 Acrylic tokens, a rulebook, and a velvet bag. The game is for two to six players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 15 minutes. It will retail for $14.99.
