Free League Publishing announced Coriolis: The Great Dark, a new edition of the Coriolis science fiction RPG, which will hit stores on August 12, 2025.
The new edition of Coriolis, which was crowdfunded last year (see “‘Coriolis: The Great Dark’“), is inspired by deep sea diving and the pulp archaeology genre. In this game, players head to the asteroid-metropolis of Ship City to engage in plots of intrigue while they prepare to explore the ruins of the Great Dark looking for artifacts lost in the Blight. The core rulebook contains information on creating a crew of Explorers and getting them equipped with gear and vehicles, as well as a gazetteer that details the setting.
Additionally, the book features “The Black Ziggurat,” an introductory adventure where players explore an ancient ruin on a distant moon. Coriolis: The Great Dark will retail for $49.99.
Alongside the core rulebook, Free League will also release a GM Screen and Dice Set. The screen will retail for $24.99 and the dice set will retail for $19.99.
