Play to Z will release Tales of Arabian Nights 40th Anniversary Edition, a new edition of the award-winning storytelling game, in Q3 2025.
This game, designed by Anthony J. Gallela, Eric Goldberg, Kevin Maroney, and Zev Shlasinger, was originally released via Z-Man Games in 2009. In this game, players assume the role of a hero or heroine thrust into the tales of Scheherazade from the classic book. Players will save imprisoned princesses, battle powerful ‘efreets and evil viziers, and adventure alongside Sindbad and Aladdin. The new edition of the game has updated rules, Places of Power Encounter cards, and new encounters with Merchants and Dervishes.
The game is for one to six players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 120 minutes.
Play to Z will also release 23 Knives, a new board game, into retail (see “Play a Critical Role in Julius Caesar’s Fate“).
