Goliath Games has announced the forensic murder mystery game Manner of Death releasing in August and Chucky: The Game, based on the horror films, coming later in the fall.
Manner of Death challenges players to solve a murder mystery through forensic evidence. Designed to create a grittier style of mystery game, it focuses on the technical aspects of a murder investigation. The players must pour over crime scene notes, forensic details, and conduct an autopsy of the victim to uncover clues and solve the case.
The game is intended for three to five players, ages 14 and up. The three-body version of the game will have an MSRP of $29.99, with single-body and two-body versions also available.
In Chucky: The Game, players must try to kill the demonic murderous doll not once, but twice. The game is built around a deck of 21 cards. In turn, players flip a card and follow the instructions. If a player can get the proper weapon and a Chucky card, they can kill him, but if the Chucky doll draws his knife, the players lose.
This summer, Goliath will release The Sims board game (see “Goliath Games Partners with ‘The Sims’”), followd in the fall by The Traitors Game, based on the BBC program (see “NYC Toy Fair 2025 News: Goliath Will Release ‘The Traitors: The Game’ into NA Markets”).
