Wizards of the Coast announced that the Secret X SpongeBob Squarepants drop sets for Magic: The Gathering will be available for preorder on March 24, 2025 at 9 a.m.
These three new Secret Lair drop sets will feature several fan favorite characters from Bikini Bottom, including SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, and the cult icon, Gary. The first of three sets, Secret Lair × SpongeBob SquarePants: Legends of Bikini Bottom, offers players core characters as Legendary creatures (so they can use them in Commander). The second set, Secret Lair × SpongeBob SquarePants: Internet Sensation, is inspired by the iconic meme-worthy moments in the series. The third set, Secret Lair × SpongeBob SquarePants: Lands Under the Sea, offers players basic lands showcasing the Bikini Bottom landscape.
The regular sets will be available for $29.99 and foil editions will cost $39.99.
