For this edition of FanArt Friday, Pokémon Blog is honored to display the beautiful art of the talented Bel Ami (belami_illus). She has also participated in the fourth and fifth generations of Pokédex Ilustrada, the ambitious project organized by our dear friends from Ilustradoras Unidas.
Art means everything in the life of Bel: “I can’t see myself doing anything else but this. I love drawing, painting, and animating. I’m even studying animation for the same reason.”
Her relationship with the Pokémon franchise is not as close as it used to be, but she has so many fond memories of it.
“I loved the seasons where Dawn and Piplup appeared. They are still my favorites to this day. I liked them even more than Ash and Pikachu,” she confessed.
Drawing Pokémon is a very nice and relaxing activity for Bel.
“When I participated in Pokédex Ilustrada, I found it fun, and my friends loved it too. I like to draw things that please my loved ones,” she shared.
It was difficult for Bel to pick a favorite Pokémon, but, as mentioned before, she has always loved Piplup. Bulbasaur holds a special place in her heart because she always uses it in Pokémon Unite.
