Looney Labs will release Mystery Fluxx, a new version of the classic card game, into retail on May 6, 2025.
This version of Fluxx is a “genre spoof” edition of the game, much like Fantasy Fluxx, Monster Fluxx, and Olympus Fluxx (see “‘Fluxx’ and ‘Loonacy’ Ascend Olympus“). The new game contains lots of new humerous Easter eggs pertaining to detective series and movies. The goal of this game will be to solve a mystery by collecting clues, examining locations, finding weapons, and uncovering Secrets without being eliminated. This game features several card types, including Meta Rules, Keepers, Creepers, Goals, New Rules, Actions, Surprises, Dangers, and the brand-new Secrets card type.
The game supports one to six players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 10 to 30 minutes. It will retail for $20.
