Travel the East Australian Current in ‘Australis’

Thames & Kosmos will release Australis, a new board game, into retail in Fall 2025.

In this game, designed by Alessandro Zucchini and Leo Colovini, players use sea turtles to manage the ecosystem surrounding the underwater superhighway of the East Australian Current (EAC). Players will select food cubes to feed fish, place corals onto reefs, and drift their sea turtles swim further down the current. At the end of each round, players will compete for various colored dice that provide advantages in the ecosystem.

As the game goes on, players will improve the types of dice they have access to and earn points. The player who ends up with the most points at the end of the game will win. This game supports two to four players, ages 10 and up, and plays in it 60 minutes. It will retail for $39.95.

Thames & Kosmos also recently released The Gang, a new cooperative poker card game (see “Round Up ‘The Gang’“).
