Meet Wargamer’s spectacular new sister website – Deadlock Rank!

If you supplement your tabletop gaming hobbies with a soupçon of competitive MOBA battling, you absolutely need to check out Wargamer’s brand new sister website Deadlock Rank – a constantly updated, high tech database and compendium of everything about Valve’s upcoming multiplayer hero shooter.

You probably already know Wargamer’s other sibling sites, like the PC gaming masterminds at PCGamesN and the mighty Pocket Tactics, the world’s biggest mobile games site. Now, with the early access playtesting for Valve’s stylish MOBA shooter Deadlock ramping up, another shiny new website joins the family – Deadlock Rank.

If you’re not yet aware of Deadlock, don’t be embarrassed – its development was shrouded in secrecy until earlier this year – but the wizards at Deadlock Rank have compiled every shred of available info on the game to create interactive guides to its characters, maps, builds, and more.

It’s going to be an invaluable tool for anyone diving into the shooter, which is set to be a wild mixture of leading hero shooters like Overwatch and Valorant, and classic MOBA mechanics from the likes of DOTA 2 and League of Legends, such as lane-based maps, creeps, and in-game item shopping used to create competitive Deadlock builds on the fly.

As you can tell from our well-stocked guides to the best Warhammer 40k games, and our Baldur’s Gate 3-headed list of the best D&D games on PC and console, your Wargamer team spend almost as much time digitally gaming as we do rolling dice and slinging cards. Arceus knows we’ve all spent countless hours cracking packs on Pokémon TCG Pocket recently.

So, in between the countless tabletop treats 2025 has to offer, we’ll certainly be waiting for an opportunity to give Deadlock a whirl – and if we do, Deadlock Rank‘s hero guides, leaderboards, and builds are going to be an essential assist to help us not entirely suck.

At least until another MOBA-themed board game as good or better than Riot’s excellent 2016 LoL tie-in Mechs vs. Minions comes out, anyway. In the meantime, I’ll be playing my favorites from our list of the best board games – I still haven’t finished Frosthaven after a year and a half…
