Red Raven Games has launched Above and Below: Haunted, a standalone sequel to Above and Below, on Gamefound. Set to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the original game, Above and Below: Haunted introduces players to a haunted marshland setting, with opportunities to explore watery caves and build new villages.

In this sequel, players compete to construct the best village by recruiting villagers, constructing buildings, and exploring the caves beneath the marshlands. The game adds several new features to enhance gameplay, including haunted buildings that lower reputation, new types of caves with varying difficulty, and pearl tokens that count as valuable goods at the end of the game.
Other additions include new key and star buildings designed specifically for Above and Below: Haunted, boat tokens that help alter die rolls, and 40 unique adventure cards, each offering specific rewards for cave exploration.

Fans of the original game will find familiar gameplay elements alongside these new challenges and strategies, all set in the world of Arzium.
Above and Below: Haunted has met its funding goal on Gamefound, reaching $40,000 in under 30 minutes. The campaign has currently raised $186,232, supported by 1,881 backers, and is 465% funded with 19 days remaining.
