New Special Research story with branching paths now available in Pokémon GO during the GO All Out event, you can choose to adventure with Grookey, Scorbunny or Sobble

Niantic is continuing to announce new events and content for Pokémon GO. Read on below to learn more:

GO out, GO big, and GO wild with a new Season in Pokémon GO as Pokémon first discovered in the Galar region make their debuts!

GO All Out

Tuesday, September 3, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. local time

Time to celebrate—the following Pokémon first discovered in the Galar region will make their Pokémon GO debuts!

Thwackey
Rillaboom
Scorbunny
Raboot
Cinderace
Sobble
Drizzile
Inteleon
Dreepy
Drakloak
Dragapult

Also, for the first time in Pokémon GO, Trainers in the United Kingdom may encounter Stonjourner!

* You can use 25 Grookey Candy to evolve Grookey into Thwackey, and 100 Grookey Candy to evolve Thwackey into Rillaboom.
* You can use 25 Scorbunny Candy to evolve Scorbunny into Raboot, and 100 Scorbunny Candy to evolve Raboot into Cinderace.
* You can use 25 Sobble Candy to evolve Sobble into Drizzile, and 100 Sobble Candy to evolve Drizzile into Inteleon.
* You can use 25 Dreepy Candy to evolve Dreepy into Drakloak, and 100 Dreepy Candy to evolve Drakloak into Dragapult.

Wild Encounters

The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild. For the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Skwovet and Shiny Wooloo—if you’re lucky!

Max Out Special Research

Choose your Galarian partner Pokémon!

A new Special Research story with branching paths will be available to Trainers!
Throughout Pokémon GO: Max Out, you’ll be able to reach new heights with your chosen partner Pokémon.

Depending on which partner Pokémon you choose, your Postcard Book background will change for the Season to celebrate your new companion !

You can claim this Special Research at no cost from Tuesday, September 3, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 9:59 a.m. local time.
