Renegade Game Studios will release Vegas Showdown, a new edition of the classic Avalon Hill Game by Henry Stern, into retail in October 2024.
Vegas Showdown was first released in 2005 and was named Game of the Year by Games Magazine in 2006 (see “‘Vegas Showdown’“). In this game, players pick up a plot of land in Las Vegas with hopes and dreams of becoming a casino mogul. They will build up their casinos over the course of one year, bidding on contractors to add all sorts of amenities to help bring in the public. The build with the most famous casino at the end of the game wins.
The new edition offers players brand-new artwork and graphic design upgrades with the same great gameplay. This game is for three to five players, ages 12 and up, and plays in 75 minutes. It will retail for $40.00.
