Strategy: Training Sync Pairs
Level up your sync pairs!
Raise the level of your sync pairs to the recommended level for the battle.
To level up beyond Lv. 100, use the Unlock Level Cap menu.
To obtain the items required, head to the Cap-Unlock Area in the Training Area.
Use the sync grid effectively!
Power up your sync pairs even further via their sync grids. Simply use the Co-op Sync Orbs available in the Sync Orb Area of the Training Area.
There are various ways to upgrade your sync pairs, so choose whatever suits you.

Unleash Theme Skills!
Create teams with sync pairs that share the same themes and target your opponents’ weaknesses.
Use Theme Skills to make your sync pairs even stronger.
Master tactics!
Switching tactics changes the order your team members are targeted.
A key strategy is to have support sync pairs with higher HP, Defense, or Sp. Def targeted first, and strike sync pairs with higher Attack or Sp. Atk targeted third.

Defeat opponents in the center last!
If you defeat an Elite Four or Champion sync pair in the center position first, the Pokémon on the left and right will unleash powerful moves.
So try to defeat the sync pair in the center position last.
Tap an opponent’s Pokémon during battle to switch between targets.

Recommended Fighting Style
- Lower your opponent’s Electric Type Rebuff!
- Strike your opponent with special attacks!
- Watch out for attacks that leave your allies burned!
Recommended Sync Pairs and Tactics
- #1: Blue (Champion) & Zapdos
- #2: Sygna Suit Hau & Tapu Koko
- #3: Sygna Suit Piers & Toxtricity
Cheren (Champion) & Tornadus have a Passive Skill to reduce the damage they take from moves and Sync Moves while they are unaffected by negative status changes, so use Blue (Champion) & Zapdos’s Roaring White Lightning Passive Skill to lower their Electric Type Rebuff!
Swanna and Samurott will raise their Defense with the Sentry Entry ×2 Passive Skill, so hit them hard with special attacks!
Cheren (Champion) & Tornadus have a Passive Skill that combines with Heat Wave after they use their Sync Move to leave all of your allies burned. You can remove this condition with Blue (Champion) & Zapdos’s Thundering Wings Roost!
