WizKids revealed Cult of the Spider, a new WizKids Encounter in a Box, which will release in August 2024.
Cult of the Spider offers players a classic 5E compatible encounter. A village is hiding a dark secret in the caverns below where a group of evil spider-worshipping cultists are performing dark rituals. It’ll be up to a group of heroes to thwart their plans and save the village from peril. The box includes everything players need to run this scenario: a scenario booklet, a Giant Spider (3D pre-painted miniature), Webbed Spider Victim (3D pre-painted miniature), Archway (pre-painted terrain), a 1″ Riser Pillar (3D pre-painted terrain), a 2″ Riser Pillar (3D pre-painted terrain), a 3″ Riser Pillar (3D pre-painted terrain), a Cultist (2D acrylic miniature), a Freeman (2D acrylic miniature), a Farmer (2D acrylic miniature), a Blacksmith (2D acrylic miniature), a Skinner/Tanner (2D acrylic miniature), a Mine Entrance Map Tile, and a Webbed Passage Map Tile.
This boxed set will retail for $29.99.
