Games Workshop has announced an array of new products scheduled for pre-order next week, highlighting the continuation of the Dawnbringers Crusade with “Dawnbringers: Book V: Shadow of the Crone” leading the lineup. This installment introduces gamers and lore enthusiasts to the latest developments in the Twin-Tailed Crusade’s efforts to establish new settlements in the realms of Aqshy and Ghyran, amidst emerging threats to Hammerhal Aqsha.
The narrative of “Shadow of the Crone” delves into the challenges faced by the Crusade, with Hanniver Toll and Armand Callis playing key roles in uncovering and confronting a dire conspiracy. The book also introduces Krethusa the Croneseer, providing players with new rules for this character, Callis & Toll, and their allies, alongside a new Army of Renown and Regiment of Renown. Additionally, it includes the next part of the Twin-Tailed Crusade Cities of Sigmar Path to Glory Battlepack and Strongpoint Assault rules for team-based play.
A limited edition of “Shadow of the Crone” is available, featuring distinctive design elements such as soft-touch full cover art with gold foil lettering, a purple ribbon marker, and gilt page edges, catering to collectors.
Further expanding the Warhammer Age of Sigmar universe, the “Saviours of Cinderfall” narrative segment involves Callus and Toll in a mission to safeguard Hammerhal Aqsha from a conspiracy tied to the mysterious kingsblood ‘wine.’ This storyline is complemented by rules for a unique Regiment of Renown.
The Krethusa’s Cronehost box set introduces the character of Krethusa the Croneseer and her followers, offering a starting point for The Croneseer’s Pariahs, a new Army of Renown. Spearhead boxes for Stormcast Eternals, Cities of Sigmar, and Flesh-eater Courts, along with Warcry terrain pieces and the Mawpit terrain piece for Ogor Mawtribes, provide additional options for players and hobbyists.
Black Library contributions include “Callis & Toll” by David Annandale, exploring the backstory of Hammerhal Aqsha, and the return of “Road of Skulls” in audiobook format. Titles such as “Assassinorum: Kingmaker” and “The Fall of Cadia: Part 1” are set to be available for French and German readers, respectively, with the next Horus Heresy Omnibus also up for pre-order in German.
The announcement also teases further explorations in the Warhammer community, including a focus on Shadespire and painting tutorials, promising a comprehensive update on the Dawnbringers series and other Warhammer Age of Sigmar offerings in the week ahead.
