Niantic is continuing to announce new events and content for Pokémon GO. Read on below to learn more:
Fierce battles, fabulous event bonuses, and fun Collection Challenges are about to be all the rage.
Power up your Pokémon and prepare for battle with the Pokémon GO Raging Battles event running from January 19 at 10:00 a.m. to January 24, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time. During the event, Annihilape, known as the Rage Monkey Pokémon, will make its Pokémon GO debut. In addition, the dastardly Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons. Throh and Sawk will also both appear in the wild regardless of your location.
On top of that, certain Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild, including Mankey, Machop, Lickitung, Gligar, Sableye, Throh, Sawk, and Scraggy. Many of these Pokémon—and their Evolutions—are powerful allies in the GO Battle League, making it worth your time to catch Lickitung, earn as much Sableye Candy as possible, and catch and evolve Gligar. Trainers with the tenacity and courage to complete event-themed Field Research tasks will earn an encounter with Mankey. And don’t forget to brush up on landing Nice, Great, and Excellent Throws to increase your chances of catching Pokémon for the Raging Battles Collection Challenges. Trainers who manage to complete their collections will earn three Fast TMs, three Charged TMs, and Stardust.
Choose your fiercest Pokémon teams to take on the following Raid Bosses.
- One-Star Raids
- Snubbull

- Pancham

Tasks must be completed and rewards claimed before January 24, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
And if all that wasn’t enough, Pokémon GO Battle Week: Timeless Travels is also taking place through January 24, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time. You can enjoy incredible bonuses while playing in the GO Battle League during the event, which include the following.
