Thames & Kosmos will release Nunatak: Temple of Ice, a new board game, into U.S. retail in 2024.
In Nunatak: Temple of Ice, players assume the roles of members of an ancient civilization attempting to build the biggest temple the world has even seen. The temple will be located in the ice and snow of the brutal Antarctic environment and will be made of ice blocks. Players will need to sharpen primitive tools and bridle ancient animals to strategically place blocks of ice. The player who has the best placement of their ice blocks at the end of the game wins.
This game is for one to four players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 45 minutes. It will retail for $39.95.
Thames & Kosmos also released My Island, a competitive legacy game by Reiner Knizia (see “‘My Island’ into U.S. Retail“).
