The ranks of Ancient and Future Pokémon continue to grow with the Scarlet & Violet—Temporal Forces expansion. You won’t quite be able to tool up your next deck or update your collection until the expansion officially hits the streets on March 22, 2023, but you do have plenty of time to preorder this expansion’s products at the Pokémon Center. These products include the classic booster bundle, booster display box, and two options for the Elite Trainer Box. They’ll be available for preorder until March 13, 2023.
Exclusively at the Pokémon Center, you can add a little time-traveling glamour to your collection with the Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box. Each one features Iron Leaves or Walking Wake on the cover, two more booster packs than a regular Elite Trainer Box, and an additional illustration rare style promo card featuring the Pokémon Center logo. It’s a perfect product for fans of the mysterious Paradox Pokémon as they continue to make their way into the Pokémon TCG.

Jan. 10, 2024 — The Pokémon Company International announced today that the next expansion in the best-selling Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), Scarlet & Violet—Temporal Forces, will launch at participating retailers around the world beginning March 22, 2024.
First introduced in the Black & White Series, ACE SPEC cards will return to the Pokémon TCG in Scarlet & Violet—Temporal Forces, as initially announced during the 2023 Pokémon World Championships. ACE SPEC cards have powerful effects, but each deck will be limited to only one ACE SPEC card. Furthermore, ACE SPEC cards in Scarlet & Violet—Temporal Forces will feature a new eye-catching magenta design and can appear as Trainer or Special Energy cards.
The upcoming expansion will also feature new Pokémon, including Walking Wake and Iron Leaves, as originally introduced in the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games. Trainers will also see new Ancient and Future Pokémon and Trainer cards, as well as more type-shifted Tera Pokémon ex.
Noteworthy cards from the expansion include:
- Seven ACE SPEC Trainer and Special Energy cards
- 13 Pokémon ex and two Tera Pokémon ex
- 22 illustration rare Pokémon
- 10 special illustration rare Pokémon and Supporter cards
- Six hyper rare gold etched cards
Trainers can look forward to finding Scarlet & Violet—Temporal Forces in booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes and special collections at Pokémon Center and participating retailers worldwide. Select products from the expansion are now available for preorder at Pokémon Center in the U.S., Canada and the U.K., including the Scarlet & Violet—Temporal Forces Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box, which comes with two additional booster packs and one additional illustration rare-style promo card featuring the Pokémon Center logo.
In addition, ahead of the release of the tabletop version, Trainers will be able to play with Scarlet & Violet—Temporal Forces digitally via the Pokémon TCG Live app for iOS, Android, macOS and Windows devices on March 21, 2024. Trainers can collect and battle with new ACE SPEC cards and receive in-game bonuses when logging in to the app.
