Mantic Games announced that they have teamed up with 343 Industries to bring a new Halo miniatures game to retail in September 2024.
The brand-new miniatures game will feature team combat gameplay as well as detailed Spartan miniatures to delight fans of the video game. This game will not be crowdfunded, but instead, will head straight into retail. Retailers can expect the first preview of this game in March 2024.
“Having a firefight play out on the table while moving Spartans in and out of cover connects players to the action in a new and special way,” said Ronnie Renton, CEO and founder of Mantic Games. “We have a thrilling and competitive game, from a passionate team of talented sculptors, artists, and designers who have been building an incredible Halo experience.”
This Halo miniatures game is the latest attempt at a tabletop skirmish version of the popular video game. Previously, Spartan Games brought a Halo miniatures combat game to market in 2015 (see “‘Halo’ Comes to the Tabletop“).
