Full details revealed for the Pokémon GO Adamant Time event, which runs from December 11 to 15 and focuses on Kanto Pokémon with new Timed Research, Field Research, Special Research, Ditto changeup, a Lucky exchange and more

Niantic is continuing to announce new events and content for Pokémon GO. Read on below to learn more:

No need to take a trip back to where it all started in the Kanto region—it appears that the Kanto region has come to us across time and space! The year may not be 2016, but Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region are inexplicably roaming the wild in greater numbers than before.
Spend some time researching with Professor Willow, and shine a light on these latest developments! In the meantime, what better way to study these Pokémon than interacting with them in new ways? Party up, explore a Route, and enter your stars in a PokéStop Showcase!

Monday, December 11, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, December 15, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time

A Lucky exchange!

The number of guaranteed Lucky Pokémon a Trainer can receive in a trade has been increased from 15 to 25! And starting Monday, December 11, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. local time, if you trade a Pokémon that has been in a Trainer’s Pokémon storage since 2018, it is guaranteed to become a Lucky Pokémon until the limit is reached! This change is permanent.

Catch up with Timed Research

Seasonal Timed Research focused on catching up on XP and leveling up will be available starting with this event until the end of 2023!

Complete the research tasks by reaching Level 10, Level 20, Level 30, and Level 40 to earn items and Stardust at each milestone! Trainers can automatically claim rewards for a milestone they have already passed at the start of the event.

Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before Sunday, December 31, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. local time.

Event-themed Timed Research will be available throughout the event!

Timed Research focused on adding friends will be available throughout the event!

Complete the research tasks to earn XP, Stardust, and Ultra Balls.

Be on the lookout for Showcases at different PokéStops during the event where you can enter Krabby, Vulpix, Ponyta, Voltorb, or Ditto!

The Boost Box and Ultra Storage Box will be available during the event.

For US$9.99, Trainers will receive 30 Lucky Eggs, 10 Incense, two Lure Modules, and two Poffins.

Ultra Storage Box
For US$4.99, Trainers will receive one Item Bag upgrade, one Pokémon Storage upgrade, one Premium Battle Pass, and one Remote Raid Pass.
