At New York Comic Con 2023, DC announced the return of Elseworlds, the lineup of comics that featured classic DC characters with new twists often creating classic reads. The announced comics include Gotham by Gaslight: The Kryptonian Age, Batman the Barbarian, and Green Lantern: Dark. Also being added to the line are the follow ups to Dark Knights of Steel and DC vs. Vampires.
Eslworlds was established in 1991 and has released stories such as Batman: Holy Terror, Kingdom Come, Batman & Dracula: Red Rain, Superman: Red Son, Justice League: The Nail and more!
The slate brings a whole new adventure of out-of-continuity stories that have created some modern classics.
