Asmodee will release Skoventyr, a new card game, into retail on June 30, 2023.
In this game, Gamle Erik, the Danish Devil, is hunting a badger named Vogter, who is the avatar of the Forest. Players need to help Vogter escape Gamle Erik as well as band together allies to defeat his minions. However, this task is not that easy as some of Vogter’s allies have a dark connections. The goal of the game is to defeat Gamle Erik’s minions before they capture Vogter.
The game box comes with 54 cards, 8 oversized cards, 11 tokens, 2 wooden pawns, and a rulebook. This game is for one to four players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 15 minutes. It will retail for $22.00.
Asmodee is also bringing Matagot’s trick-taking card game St. Patrick into distribution (see “‘St. Patrick’“).
