Niantic is continuing to announce new events and content for Pokémon GO. Read on below to learn more:
Complete Field Research tasks to earn encounters with the Trap Pokémon.
Steel yourself for a stun-sational day of research with the Pokémon GO Stunfisk Limited Research Day on April 23, 2023, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. local time. During this time, Trainers can spin Photo Discs at PokéStops to get new Field Research tasks. Complete assignments to earn an encounter with Stunfisk or Galarian Stunfisk—there’s even a possibility you’ll encounter a Shiny one! Other Pokémon that will appear more frequently in the wild during the event include Sandshrew, Diglett, Gligar, Swinub, Phanpy, Larvitar, Numel, Barboach, Baltoy, Hippopotas, and Drilbur.
If you find yourself wondering what to do with all the incredible Stunfisk you encounter, consider powering up a Galarian Stunfisk for the GO Battle League. This Ground- and Steel-type Pokémon is considered one of the best Pokémon to bring to the Great League, and it can also be a terrific addition to your Ultra League lineup. Its bulk, dual typing, and excellent moveset make it worth the investment of Candy and Stardust to power up. To earn as much Stunfisk Candy as possible, use those Pinap Berries when encountering Stunfisk and Galarian Stunfisk.
Stay grounded, Trainers!
