Niantic is continuing to announce new events and content for Pokémon GO. Read on below to learn more:
Embrace the hero life by completing themed research tasks and learning about Pokémon Evolution.
Be the hero Pokémon GO needs with a new event—A Mystic Hero—running through April 17, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Grow stronger as a Trainer with event bonuses that include double XP for evolving Pokémon, a guaranteed Candy XL for evolving Pokémon, and three-hour Lure Module duration for Lures activated during the event.
The theme of A Mystic Hero is research, research, research—Field Research, Timed Research, and Special Research will all be featured during the event. Trainers can take on Field Research tasks to earn rewards including Stardust and Evolution items. Earn a Magnetic Lure by completing Timed Research. And with the Special Research story—A Mystic Hero—Trainers can earn an encounter with Lapras wearing a Blanche-themed accessory.

Special Research story—A Mystic Hero
Special Research featuring the leader of Team Mystic, Blanche, will be available! Trainers who complete the research will be rewarded with an encounter with Lapras wearing a Blanche-themed accessory! This is the only way to encounter Lapras wearing a Blanche-themed accessory for this Season.
Field Research task encounters
Tasks focused on evolving and catching Pokémon will be available!
Trainers can earn Stardust and Evolution items as rewards for completing these Field Research tasks.
Timed Research
Timed Research rewarding a Magnetic Lure will be available throughout the event!
Reminder: Seasonal Special Research—An Everyday Hero
Free Special Research will be available for Trainers throughout Season 10: Rising Heroes! Spend some time helping out Professor Willow to see what surprises you can discover!
The Special Research will be available to claim until the end of Season 10: Rising Heroes on June 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
