Stronghold Games will release Discovery, an expansion for Terraforming Mars: Ares Expedition, into retail on April 5, 2023.
This expansion includes new project and corporation cards that let players upgrade phase cards. Also, some of the new projects have a wild tag, which triggers when a player reveals the card from their hand or the deck and allows them to tag the card with the designation they want it to be. The expansion also adds awards for end-of-game scoring. Players get three awards at the start of the game; the player who accumulates the most of the items on the award card gets 5 VP and the player with the second most gets 2 VP.
Discovery supports one to four players and will retail for $24.99.
Stronghold Games also recently revealed Terraforming Mars: Ares Expedition – Crisis (see “‘Terraforming Mars: Ares Expedition – Crisis’“).
