Sturdy, reliable and easy to maintain, the Mk III was the most produced of the Valentine variants, boasting an improved design and an upgraded QF 2-pdr Mk V gun. Used widely from 1941, both the Mk III (and the externally identical Mk V) were also supplied to the Soviet Union under the lend lease program.
