Penguin Classics has announced three new volumes in its Penguin Classics Marvel Collection, which launched in 2022 (see “Penguin Classics to Publish Collected Editions of Marvel Comics”).
As with the first three, the new volumes will be published in two formats, a hardcover with an MSRP of $50.00 and a paperback with a different cover design and an MSRP of $28.00, and will have a series introduction by scholar Ben Saunders. All three will be released on September 12, 2023.
The three new titles are

- Fantastic Four, collecting Fantastic Four #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 48, 49, 50, 51, and Fantastic Four Annual #6, with a foreword by New Kid creator Jerry Craft and a scholarly introduction and series introduction by Saunders.

The first three volumes in the series, Spider-Man, Captain America, and Black Panther, were released in June 2022 and sold well enough in the book channel that one or more of the volumes made the BookScan Top 20 Superhero chart for five of the last six months of 2022 (see “June 2022 NPD BookScan“).
