The Book Industry Charitable Foundation (Binc) is offering to cover $750 worth of expenses for two eligible comic book store owners or employees to attend the 2023 ComicsPRO meeting. The money can be used for travel and lodging expenses, meals, or replacement wages.
To be eligible, applicants must be employees or owners of a comic shop that derives a substantial portion of its revenues from brick-and-mortar sales. The deadline for applications is January 21 2023, at 5:00 p.m. EST. More details are available on the application form.
This year’s ComicsPRO meeting will take place in Pittsburgh on February 23-25 (see “2023 ComicsPRO Meeting Announced”).
Last year, Binc provided funding for two retailers to attend the Diamond Summit (see “Binc Offers Financial Aid to Retailers to Attend Diamond Summit”).
