CMON announced the acquisition of Super Fantasy Brawl, Enchanters, and Steam Watchers from Mythic Games.
Mythic preordered both Super Fantasy Brawl and Enchanters for U.S. retail in 2022 (see “‘Super Fantasy Brawl’” and also, “‘Enchanters’ into U.S. Retail“). Steam Watchers is a post-apocalyptic area-control game set in a frozen European landscape that was up on Kickstarter in May 2022, where it raised $298,818 from 2,881 backers (about $104 per backer). The goal of the game was to harness the power of Earth to survive the devastating aftermath of global warming. This game is for two to five players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 90 to 120 minutes.
CMON will continue to publish existing titles for these new brands while developing new possibilities for them.
