Transformers Beyond Reality is now available on PSVR in the European and Australian Playstation VR marketplace. Developed by Meta4 Interactive, in partnership with the Canadian Media Fund (CMF) and Hasbro, the arcade-style first-person VR shooter is the first TRANSFORMERS VR game to be released for home play. The game was initially released in North America and Asia, and now it’s availability has expanded… beyond!
In Transformers Beyond Reality, players suit up as one of the first human recruits and work with the Autobots to uncover the Decepticons’ plot to use the power of Synthetic Dark Energon and take over their home planet Cybertron – destroying Earth in the process. With weaponry and armor that uses a hybrid of advanced Cybertronian and human technology, players will go toe to rudder with Decepticons!
With intuitive controls and an on-rails format players of any age can immerse themselves in the exciting and nostalgic world of Transformers.
Transformers Beyond Reality gives players the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of the giant shape shifting robots and enjoy playing alongside (or against) some of the franchise’s favourite characters including Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Grimlock, Starscream, Windblade, Soundwave and Megatron among others. No stranger to the TRANSFORMERS franchise, this title marks Meta4’s 3rd VR game set in the TRANSFORMERS universe after their acclaimed location-based entertainment titles Transformers: VR Battle Arena and Transformers: VR Invasion.
