Pokémon GO is being updated to a new version across all capable iOS and Android devices. The latest update is being rolled out to iOS and Android devices, respectively. According to patch notes from the development team at Niantic, the latest update implements various bug fixes and improvements for an overall smoother experience.

GO Battle League
- Mitigated an issue where the Charged Attack button would not work when tapped
- Fixed an issue where Charged Attack and switch buttons would sometimes disappear
- Fixed an issue where the logging feature stated the Trainer had one combat log awaiting upload before they used the logging feature
- Fixed an issue where screen would sometimes spin during the Charged Attack phase
- Fixed an issue where the Trainers’ avatars would sometimes not load on the matchmaking screen
- Trainers will now be able to save the Sticker as well when they pin a Postcard
- Trainers will now be able to search for Pokémon with multiple words in their name
- Trainers will now be able to search for any Pokémon that do not have a particular tag by using “!Tag” or “!#Tag”
- If Trainers switch between apps, a partially inputted Friend Code will not disappear on Android devices anymore
- Fixed an issue where repeatedly clicking on the “Battle” button on a Raid would visually show an additional Raid Pass being consumed at the Raid’s start, even though this additional Raid Pass was not actually being used
- Fixed an issue where a remote raid invitation would sometimes not appear properly or endure after it had expired
- Fixed an issue where in-game news was displaying articles that were not applicable for Trainers’ regions
- Fixed an issue where Trainers who tried to join a full Lobby via remote raid invitation were taken to a new Lobby instead of being given an error message to explain the Lobby is full
- Increased the visual quality of PokéCoins
- Fixed an issue where Flabébé, Floette, and Florges were not displaying correctly in the Pokédex
- Fixed an issue where sometimes the daily Field Research stamp would not appear correctly due to issues with Daylight Savings time
