Draco Ideas is running a Kickstarter campaign for ONUS! Traianus, a new historical battle game that’s like a minis game, but instead of figures, the units are represented on little cards. Fight battles in and around Ancient Rome without having to assemble and paint legions of tiny mans.
From the campaign:
Fight epic battles in this miniatures game without miniatures. Your troops are represented by cards on the battlefield, which include their game attributes as well as an illustration in this historically realistic game system.
ONUS! Traianus is a new standalone title that includes 8 armies and takes the fighting to the 1st and 2nd centuries CE.
ONUS! is a wargame system that simulates historical battles, in the style of miniatures games, where two sides play against each other with their armies and generals. With the solitaire mode, it allows from 1 to 6 players to play, if they share a side.
The cards show different units deployed on the battlefield, which will move, attack at range or melee, envelop and adopt special formations, among many of the actions available.
The campaign’s over 6x funded with 29 days left to go.
