Disaster Hamsters 2 RPG Supplement Up On Kickstarter

You asked for it and now you’re able to get it. Plot Hooks is running a Kickstarter campaign for Disaster Hamsters 2, their RPG supplement that lets you play as and against… well… disaster hamsters. It’s kinda right there in the title.

From the campaign:

Deep in the Feywild, nefarious scientist Jaer’i Heliot has finally perfected the art of crafting sentient animals. Although the elf has designed many a creature, he regards his work with hamsters as the pinnacle of his achievements. Now, as a final test of his creations, Jaer’i plans to drop his adorable rodents into a enormous nature preserve, which he’s filled with other small intelligent critters. In Disaster Hamsters 2 by Plot Hooks, your party plays as sentient hamsters adventuring through The Sanctuary in this epic TTRPG book, which is compatible with Fifth Edition!

Disaster Hamsters 2 builds on the concepts and lore established in the best-selling DMs Guild adventure, Disaster Hamsters. The book contains three primary sections:

•     Hamster Mechanics: Detailed rules for playing as one of these adorable rodents in Fifth Edition.
•     Campaign Setting: A 100-mile diameter nature preserve full of other sentient animals, both delightful and devious. The Sanctuary features 5 different artificially generated biomes, each with major cities built and populated by critters, along with many other things to find. And everything is ruled by the tyrannical Snuggles, a kitty that’s been spliced with red dragon DNA!
•     Epic Adventure: A Fifth Edition campaign for your hamsters to embark upon, which will take the characters from Level 1 to Level 3. The adventure is filled with great NPCs, new magic items, intriguing plots, and a final showdown against Snuggles to free yourselves from the sanctuary! (or perhaps take it over for yourself)
