Arcane Wonders will release Onitama: Light & Shadow, an expansion set, into retail stores on January 19, 2022.
This third expansion (see “‘Onitama,’ More“) to the abstract strategy board game Onitama adds ninjas to the mix. It features two game modes with a Hidden Movement mechanic. In the Light mode, each player control a hidden ninja piece that can strike at any time. In the Shadow mode, one player gets both ninjas and battles against a standard opponent.
The game box comes with 2 Ninja pawns, 4 Lantern miniatures, 2 Ninja mats, 2 folding screens, and a rulebook. This game is for two players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 15 minutes. It will retail for $19.99.
