Things That Go Squeak in the Night RPG Up On Kickstarter

In the everyday world, evil faerie and demons are trying to get at your children. Thankfully, there’s the brave, adventurous mice here to keep them safe. At least, that’s what’s going on in Things That Go Squeak in the Night, a new RPG that’s up on Kickstarter now. We all know that here, in t he real world, it’s the squirrels that take on that task.

From the campaign:

Things That Go Squeak in the Night is a rules-light tabletop role-playing game where you play heroic mice saving human children from evil faeries and demons, all while keeping yourselves secret from adults, in a contemporary urban fantasy setting.

The stories are about battling dark forces in charming animal adventures. Agents of the Micean Council are sent on missions to sneak into homes (and other places kids go) to seek out and defeat supernatural creatures that would prey on children. This mission-based game is like TheRescuers meets Supernatural. Or MouseGuard meets Ghostbusters. Or the Hunter:TheReckoning meets The Secret of N.I.M.H. (If you don’t like any of these properties, you’re on the wrong Kickstarter page!)

The campaign’s up and over its funding goal with 16 days left to go.
