RPG: Dimension 20’s Winter Season Is Everything This Year

Dimension 20’s Winter lineup has spooky schools and cheery holiday specials. These live-stream shows are perfect for chilly weather watching.

If you haven’t been watching Dimension 20’s play streams, you should. They feature amazing examples of genre-blending, character types, and drama into D&D. Or whatever other systems they happen to be tackling.

Dimension 20 has been branching out over this last year, experimenting with new systems that invite awesome stories. And it looks like the season holds a good time for Dimension 20 fans.

Dimension 20’s Shriek Week

Over the next few months, Dimension 20 has three different series planned. The first is a 4-episode special series, Shriek Week. It features a custom system designed by GM Gabe Hicks, whom you might recognize from other shows like Shikar.

For more information, check out the Shriek Week FAQ.

Misfits & Magic: Holiday Special

Then in December, there’s the Holiday Special Misfits & Magic, led by GM-of-all-games Aabria Iyengar. It features the same cast as before, only they’re back at their magical academy for a festive, one-episode holiday special.

A Starstruck Odyssey New Season

And finally, in January, a new season, titled A Starstruck Odyssey launches. The campaign is set in the universe of Starstruck, one of the most anarchic, amazing sci-fi universes. It had an incredible run across publishers like Heavy Metal, Dark Horse, Epic, and IDW.

It will feature Dimension 20’s “Intrepid Heroes” Emily Axford, Ally Beardsley, Brian Murphy, Zac Oyama, Siobhan Thompson, and Lou Wilson.

More information will come later, but for the moment we can confirm that it utilizes TaleSpire for encounters and battles and that it takes place in the world of Starstruck, based on the groundbreaking comic book series from co-creators Elaine Lee and Michael Wm Kaluta.

Elaine Lee’s son, Brennan, will be Game Master of the season.

And it all starts with Shriek Week, which launches today on Dropout. Check it out for yourself below!
