Pokémon Masters EX, the strategy and battling Pokémon game for mobile platforms, is now available for download on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). In celebration of the game’s popularity, special in-game events and rewards are being offered for all players to take part in on a regular basis. Read on below to learn more:

Strategy: Training Sync Pairs
Level up your sync pairs!
Raise the level of your sync pairs to the recommended level for the battle.
To level up beyond Lv. 100, use the Unlock Level Cap menu.
To obtain the items required, head to the Cap-Unlock Area in the Training Area.
Use the sync grid effectively!
Power up your sync pairs even further via their sync grids. Simply use the Co-op Sync Orbs available in the Sync Orb Area of the Training Area.
There are various ways to upgrade your sync pairs, so choose whatever suits you.

Unleash Theme Skills!
Create teams with sync pairs that share the same themes and target your opponents’ weaknesses.
Use Theme Skills to make your sync pairs even stronger.
Master tactics!
Switching tactics changes the order your team members are targeted.
A key strategy is to have support sync pairs with higher HP, Defense, or Sp. Def targeted first, and strike sync pairs with higher Attack or Sp. Atk targeted third.

Defeat opponents in the center last!
If you defeat an Elite Four or Champion sync pair in the center position first, the Pokémon on the left and right will unleash powerful moves.
So try to defeat the sync pair in the center position last.
Tap an opponent’s Pokémon during battle to switch between targets.

- Brace yourself for incoming physical attacks!
- Strike your opponent with special attacks!
- Try to land critical hits!

- #1: Rosa (Holiday 2019) & Delibird
- #2: Skyla & Swanna
- #3: Lysandre & Yveltal
Your opponent mainly uses physical attacks, so use Skyla & Swanna’s Take Flight! to raise your Defense.
Your opponent will use Passive Skills to lower your Attack and X Defense All to raise their Defense, so raise your Sp. Atk and aim for massive damage with powerful special attacks.
Your opponent will use Special Shield after using a Sync Move to apply the Special Damage Reduction effect, so raise your critical-hit rate with Lysandre & Yveltal’s End the World! and hit them hard!
